Hi, I’m Evelyn and I’m in Orlando at EMS World Expo with Technimount EMS. Today, I’ll be asking visitors quick EMS questions and hearing what they have to say.
Q1. Describe the EMS community in three words.
A1. Committed, adaptive, and overworked.
A2. I would say we’re a group that is talented, we are passionate, and we are very dedicated to our patients.
A3. I’d say sassy. I’d say proficient. And fun.
A4: Three words, I’m not going to use three separate, I’m going to say committed to excellence.
Q2. What is one word you would use to describe Technimount EMS?
A1. I’d say slick. I would have to say efficient.
A2. Safety.
A3. Technimount EMS, I would say innovative.
A4. It’s easy, I don’t have to train people how to use it.
Q3. What is the biggest challenge EMS teams are facing right now?
A1. Right now, I would honestly say mobility.
A2. I’d say retention. Yeah, retention of people is really the big thing.
A3. I would say staffing and then financial backing.
A4. Funding.
Q4.How do you currently secure your medical devices during transport?
A1. We use a Technimount for our LifePak 15 right now, it’s great.
A2. During transport, we have our LifePak mounted to the side next to the cot on a shelf.
A3. We are proud users of Technimount.
Q5. What is the best part about working in EMS?
A1. The people, they’re great.
A2. For me, I love the chaos, I love the patient care, I love that no two days are the same.
A3. Working at EMS, I’d say the best part is the people, you get to see.
