This groundbreaking solution is designed to securely anchor the Stryker® Prime Series® 1105 stretcher to the floor in hospital settings, specifically in environments facing the challenges of managing agitated patients.

The AnchorMed addresses a critical need for stability during high-risk situations where agitated patients compromise both their caregivers and their own safety. Engineered to prevent unwanted stretcher movement during interventions and tested to ensure robustness and durability, this innovative solution sets a new benchmark for optimized patient care.

The system features patented¹ quick release foot controls, operated through ergonomically positioned pedals. Requiring simultaneous dual activation, this technology ensures that disengagement is intentional, while enabling fast and efficient release when needed. The system is developed to support ease of use in fast-paced environments where responsiveness is essential.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the AnchorMed enhances safety and supports controlled handling through a secure coupling system that links stretcher-mounted anchoring hitches to a floor-mounted anchor. This allows the system to be engaged when retention is required and released for stretcher mobility, removing the need for a permanently fixed stretcher in these specialized care environments.
