The Abdominal Aortic & Junctional Tourniquet-Stabilized (AAJT-S) is the world’s only multi-functional, life saving tourniquet for junctional hemorrhage control, abdominal compression to simulate a Zone 3 REBOA effect, and pelvic stabilization.
REBOA is currently limited to hospital use by a physician and requires catheterization and ultrasound equipment. AAJT-S can produce a ‘REBOA Effect’ in under a minute.
Current research suggests promising results on post-partum hemorrhages.
