Designed specifically for critical care air transport, the Neonatal Transport Incubator Platform – FL transforms a LifePort AeroSled TS stretcher, typically used for adult and pediatric patients, into a neonatal transport system within seconds. The platform securely mounts the Dräger Isolette® TI500 incubator while allowing care teams to quickly return the stretcher to standard patient care when neonatal transport is no longer required. By eliminating the need to dedicate a stretcher exclusively to neonatal care, this solution helps air medical teams to optimize equipment utilization while increasing operational flexibility.

At the heart of the system is Technimount’s proprietary XClamp™ Technology, which remains installed directly onto the stretcher without interfering with its regular use. When neonatal transport is required, the platform can be rapidly installed without tools. A dual quick-release latch system, one securing the platform to the stretcher and the other anchoring the incubator, allows for fast installation and removal. Engineered with the space constraints of aircraft environments in mind, the compact platform remains within the dimensions of the AeroSled TS while providing a secure solution for neonatal transport. The system has been rigorously tested to meet applicable sections of FAA regulations 14 CFR §§ 23 and 25.

The Neonatal Transport Incubator Platform – FL is also designed for seamless compatibility with Technimount’s Xtension Pro® Assistant – LP, a previous EMS World Innovation Awards-winning solution. Together, the systems provide teams with the ability to securely manage the incubator and essential medical devices required for neonatal critical care throughout transport.
